Electronics Recycling
& Buyback FAQs
Do you pay cash for electronics?
We make cash purchase offers on qualifying equipment and material. Value depends on the type, quantity, condition and pickup requirements. The quote confirms payment terms and any service costs before you commit.
Do you come to our location?
Yes. We arrange pickup throughout California. Send your city, equipment list, photos and access details so we can confirm the scope and scheduling.
Can working equipment be sold instead of recycled?
Yes. Reusable servers, computers, storage, networking equipment and spares can be reviewed for purchase. Keep them complete until they have been evaluated.
Is every item accepted, and is pickup always free?
Acceptance and pickup cost are specific to the lot. Tell us about everything you want removed, including batteries, monitors, damaged items and heavy equipment. Do not assume every item has a cash value or that every pickup is free.
Do you provide ITAD and data center decommissioning?
Yes. We plan equipment retirement and removal around an agreed scope. Data handling, reporting, shutdown responsibilities, electrical work and any required certificates must be confirmed in writing before the project.
Which brands can I include?
Send equipment from Dell, HPE, HP, Cisco, Nortel, Lenovo, Supermicro, IBM, Juniper, NetApp, APC and other manufacturers. The brands directory explains model details that help. Each lot is reviewed individually.
Do I need to dismantle computers or servers?
No. Keep potentially reusable systems intact for the initial review. Ask how to prepare the lot before removing components.
What should I do with data-bearing equipment?
Identify drives and other devices that can store information. Confirm the required sanitization or destruction method, responsible party and documentation in writing before pickup. Do not assume that recycling automatically removes data.
Can you work around a building or facility schedule?
Share your access window, loading dock rules, elevator reservation requirements and shutdown timeline. The pickup schedule is agreed after review.
How do I send photographs or a spreadsheet?
Email your inventory and photographs to info@theewasteguys.com. The quote form opens a draft in your email app; attach the files before sending.
Are you an authorized partner of the listed manufacturers?
No manufacturer partnership or authorization is claimed. Brand names describe equipment that can be submitted for review.
